We are the “first step” in the process of restoring your family dynamic to where it once was.
Our goal is to have your child arrive at their respective treatment facility in a “positive frame of mind.” The more they engage with us, the more likely they are to engage in their treatment program and everything it has to offer. The concept of supporting the transport through encouragement rather than intimidation has proven to be supremely effective in preparing the child for the critical next step, the gateway into treatment.

The fact that the vast majority of our interventions and transports end with a smile, a “thank you,” a hand-shake, and more often than not, a hug, is a clear and powerful indication that your child in the hands of Assisted Interventions is a child experiencing Dignity, Compassion and Safety at this critical time in their young lives. At Assisted Interventions, we treat the “whole family.” Our carefully screened and selected staff of professionals is committed to guaranteeing a smooth transition for the entire family unit. We work closely with the educational consultants, individual therapists and therapeutic programs to provide a well-planned intervention and transport experience.
Our Philosophy
Assisted Interventions was founded on the principles of Dignity, Compassion and Safety in Intervention and Transport Services.
We understand what it takes to bring a family to the point where they accept that their child is in need of help, and the difficult decisions they face in seeking professional treatment. Our many years of experience has prepared us to assist in that process and to be the “First Step” in the journey to restore the family culture to a healthy balance of love, understanding and respect. We recognize the significance of our role in assuring that this first critical step is positive in all aspects of our carefully planned approach.
Assisted Interventions is committed to a process based on accepting the uniqueness of each adolescent and evaluating the needs specific to the child’s personality and frame-of-mind. Understanding that the individual is not a “bad kid,” but rather a teen in turmoil is a key component to our approach. This assessment is followed by a plan of action with intent on de-escalating a potentially difficult situation through patience, respect and a healthy dose of “calm.” Tactics based on intimidation are NEVER employed, NEVER considered and NEVER an option. We recognize the traumatic effects a process based on fear, deceit and the constant threat of harm can have on a confused teen and the potentially devastating effect negative tactics can have on this critical “First Step.”
